The Tekonsha Prodigy RF is the ideal brake controller for those who tow with multiple vehicles. Rental companies, fleet owners, and those who lease a vehicle are among the many who benefit most from this unique trailer brake controller. With the Prodigy RF, there is no under dash wiring. Instead, the power module mounts to the tongue or front of the trailer and connects to a handheld remote through Bluetooth Wireless Technology. The remote has many of the same great features as other controllers in the Prodigy line, including boost, which allows for different levels of customized braking, manual override to help you brake safely when an unexpected stop pops up, and a digital display that shows proper connection, power output, and continual diagnostics. The remote plugs into a standard 12-volt power accessory adapter and has a five-year limited warranty. The power module has multiple mounting positions. It plugs into the vehicle’s 7-Way connector, offering proportional trailer braking whether you’re driving forward or in reverse. This unique proportional braking system has everything you need to stop safely on the road. The Prodigy RF works with any trailer with up to three (3) axles and comes with all the mounting hardware needed for installation. The power module is backed by a 15-year limited warranty.
