The Emile Henry ceramic bread box has been designed to extend the life of a loaf by creating an environment that balances humidity, needed for a bread's soft interior, and provides the air circulation needed to maintain a crusty crust. In addition to storing the bread, the wood lid of the bread box is designed as a bread cutting board.
